For those of us who have, or have had, a member of the breed in our family, firmly attached to the emotional fibers of our hearts, it is with profound sorrow and grief that we suffer the loss of such a loved one. That loss seems particularly needless when resulting from breed-specific disease or illness which is why the Portuguese Water Dog Foundation is dedicated to making a genuine impact on the future health of the breed through research and education specific to Portuguese Water Dogs.
It also seems fitting to offer those of you, wishing to make a donation to the Foundation, an opportunity to link that donation to the remembrance of your beloved companion. Accordingly, the Portuguese Water Dog Foundation has begun offering Online Memorials through our website.
For a donation of $250.00 or more  , we will include a small photograph and a 100 word (maximum limit) memorial of your loved one on a general memorial page. For a donation of $1000.00 or more  , we will create a special page, dedicated exclusively to your loved one, with up to four photos and a 500 word (maximum limit) memorial.
