Thank You for Supporting the PWD Health Survey

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Portuguese Water Dog Health Survey. Your willingness to share information about your dogs has made this effort a success and represents an extraordinary commitment to the future health of the breed. We collected information on over 3,300 PWDs!

Because of your participation, the Foundation has collected valuable data that will help identify common and emerging health concerns in Portuguese Water Dogs. This information will play an important role in guiding research priorities and supporting veterinarians and researchers working to improve PWD health worldwide.

The survey is now closed, and our team is beginning the process of analyzing the data. A summary report of key findings will be released in the first half of 2026. We look forward to sharing insights that your contributions made possible.
