Bladder cancer case recruitment is complete, assisted by a collaboration with Antech, which attached our study flyer to all BRAF urine tests that were positive for canine bladder cancer. We are awaiting the last batch of analyses for urinary chemicals (acrolein and arsenic) in dogs and their owners, as well as measurements of arsenic in tap water and household dust, and acrolein in household air. We hypothesize that these chemical exposures will be higher in bladder case homes compared to control homes.
